I'm pretty sure I was on for much of yesterday, though as I had no-one to talk to there's no-one to vouch for that. And all my days tend to blur together, so I could be mistaken.

If it's any help, I'll probably be around quite a bit tomorrow. Perhaps we can chat then?

its late - i'm sozzled - and i've been watchin' miller's crossing. So, somebody want to tell me why Tom doesn't kill bernie when they're out in the woods?

Is it his conscience (does he have one?)

Is he in love with verna - and doesn't want to screw it up by killin her brother?

Is it all part of the plan to help Leo - he realises bernie will be useful later so doesn't want to kill him

I don't think there's any definitive answer - I'm just interested what other people who like the film think
