When?
One of my exes -- no names, no pack drill -- took a dim view of photographs. Not the pictures themselves, that is, but the way they misrepresent one's life. We only photograph the exceptional, he argued. Photos make us out to be so much more interesting than we really are.Damn right.
With the full and frank intention of appearing more interesting than I really am, here are some of mine. I expect plenty more to accumulate here as I go along, but if you can't wait there's always the Marching Boys pages.

It's always *such* a pleasure to swing by your parlour and have a look at the latest offerings cooling on the cake rack, if you see what I mean...

"Cooling on the cake rack" -- what a charming metaphor! It makes me imagine the blogiverse (or at least our little corner of it) as a sort of extended WI summer fête.
If only I still had that stripy frock: perfect attire for serving scones and clotted cream out on the lawn.
