Result

A fair bit of the weekend was spent being gloomy and disgruntled and generally beating myself up over what increasingly came to seem a moronic performance in Friday's interview, so it was both a surprise and a relief to receive an email today offering me a place on the course. Four years of poverty and hard work beckon. The whole enterprise suddenly feels rather daunting, but exciting too.
