Rehearsal

Following on from the last post, here are some pics from the Marching Boys rehearsal in Green Park on Sunday afternoon. No, I am not in any of them, on account of being the one holding the camera.

Well hello there. My First Blond Moment of the day is occurring due to this post: I don't understand. What are they doing in the park? Thank you.

Poncing around, mostly. Attempting to learn a dance routine for the Pride march. See the Marching Boys pages for some idea, if you haven't before.

If, on the other hand, you just mean "why the park?" then that's because of (a) space, (b) sunshine and (c) tradition.

Okay, cool, thanks. I get it now. I also want one of the costumes from 1993. 'Tis my first summer in London, you see...I've only been here during spring and winter months, so I've never before witnessed the Marching Boys. Also, I take it that you guys won't dress up in costumes from the wonderful film Troy. Thank you.

These boys seem spot on. It looks like it's going to be another great performance :-)

The guy on the far left in the very first picture looks amazingly like the carpenter on TLC's "While You Were Out".

Maybe he's moonlighting?
