Blindside
You know how it is when you're expecting something, and you wait for it, and you wait for it, and you just know it's coming, and you wait for it some more, and you start picking at it and poking at it, you try to provoke it into happening in various ways, pushing and prodding and nudging, and you have your whole "I told you so" speech ready and waiting, you're just teetering on the brink with that great chasm yawning beneath your feet, and the drop's so enormous you can't even hold it in your mind at once and still you're waiting and your eyes are watering and you're ready, you're ready, and then when it finally fucking does happen it still somehow takes you by surprise?You know how that is?

I too am thrilled that your autographed photo of Martha Stewart in prison finally arrived in the mail this morning. This would blindside and excite anyone. I am also thrilled that you are no longer depressed-sounding.
