Terra Incognita

I drunkenly mumbled something about this a few weeks ago; now I've started it. There will, I think, be a whole bunch of these, but they'll wander along in their own good time rather than being churned out to a schedule.

As the name might suggest, Incognito is, at least in part, about not knowing -- oneself, others, how things turn out -- and that remains. I'm pretty sure, for example, I'm not ever going to tell you what happened at the factory. But incompleteness is wonderfully expansive, and there are all these little stories in my head. Why not pick up a few threads?

So.

I'd like to welcome you to Terra Incognita, but that would be ridiculous: you've lived here all your life.
