I was intending to attempt some kind of explanation for the uninitiated of that peculiar occasion known as the Mornington Crescent "pilg", but frankly I think the pictures say too much already. There will, I feel pretty certain, be loads more such online at Orange in the fullness of time.

The only thing that really needs pointing out is the identity of the shutterbug in the middle photo: all the way from Portland, Oregon, give a big hand please to the one and only Dunx. Of the people who occasionally drop by WalkyTalky, he's the one I've known longest online, and it was a great pleasure to finally meet in the flesh.

It's a Sony Cybershot DSC-U50. Still available I think. Use the rechargeable batteries that it comes with, they last for ten times as many pics as alkaline AAAs.
