Flurry, sometimes a common noun, but also a rare compound form of blurry and fluffy, used for cute little babies swaddled in fuzzy blankets that call for swift attention on demand.
As a baby, I was the picture of serenity in the day time, but as soon as night fell, the sign of the devil loomed over the house, banshees burst into the night air and mothers got a wee bit stressed. I hope that Dorigen has an especially considerate little man there.

[Rye] Nah, it was just a little wail.
[Stairs] I hope so too. His inner banshee has been quiescent in my presence, but I believe she's made herself known at other times.
