Circle of Life
These two were almost lost amongst the millions of text messages sent in London yesterday:
Alastair: Saw a 15 year old spitting image of you on train this AM, complete with hair style, colour and Arcteryx bag and jacket.
Matt: Poor lad, grey at 15.
Observe that we both used full stops -- and imagine how my eyes are rolling just now.
Matt: Poor lad, grey at 15.

Oh yes. I loved that about texting the two of you, you're the only other people with grammatical correctness even in text-messaging.

I must add that I go to great lengths to punctuate text messages. And (on the subject of texting) you should try predictive text messaging in French. It's not nearly as easy to use as in English, what with all of those apostrophes. Just, for example, contemplate a simple hungry-on-the-métro-going-home-to-spouse type question such as "Qu'est-ce qu'il y a à manger chez nous ce soir ?" Is it any wonder it's becoming "Keskilya" and the like? But I digress...
