Filler 18
So, let's see.No-one sent me any Valentine cards. Tsk, what is the matter with you people? My disappointment knows no bounds.
Saturday, instead, was a rather family-oriented day. Ian's sister and mother came by for a visit -- his mother was in London on prospective-grandmother duty, Bethan being pregnant and all. We ate too many heart-shaped sweeties that she had brought for the occasion.
In the evening we went to see Cirque du Soleil's Dralion (warning: link contains some nasty embedded Flash content which seems to hang Mozilla, though it's fine in Safari) with my mother and sister, plus Dorigen's partner Alan, Marching Boys choreographer Kym, and a party of folks from the trampoline club. There were some marvellous, breathtaking acts, and the show was slick and enjoyable, but it felt a bit safer and blander than previous Cirque outings, too much Vegas, not enough edge.
Sunday I climbed The Monument with Alastair and the two of us joined a mass outing to Dogville organized by Max.
In other news, there's another addition to the photo album.
