Looks like a fun gathering; I'd forgotten it was even Shrove Tuesday. As it is, I was nursing my pet invalid through a bad stomach day, so food of any kind was out of the question :-p

I've probably not seen two of those faces since the Southbank, 200 years ago. Time flies, but the faces don't change much.

Hello there!

I was thinking of you yesterday. Unfortunately work commitments prevented me from dropping in (assuming I would have still been welcome after all these missed pancake evenings).

But given that I'm about to become a staff interpreter (rather than a freelance) I'll be able to book leave like a normal mortal, so here's to next year!
