4

Well, it's getting to be birthday season, what with young Samson's on Tuesday and Ian's on Thursday. The anniversary today is WalkyTalky's.

A lot has changed in the world and my life since this blog started; other things not so much. It's fascinating and a bit alarming to have even an unrepresentative fraction of that documented. I surely didn't imagine when I started that it'd keep going so long, but it has and there's no obvious end in sight. I remain happy with my little home on the web, somewhere to hang out, spout bollocks, perhaps have a few people drop in from time to time.

So. Onwards to 5, 6, 7... Who knows what things will be like then?

Only one way to find out.

A very happy birthday to all concerned, and a special 'many happy returns' to this august (ok, then, late July) journal.

I feel honoured to have had a very small part in encouraging its conception (by starting my now dormant blog) - I feel a bit like the Tracey Ullman Show to your Simpsons.

Long may your refreshing, honest, intelligent, elegant and thoroughly unique 'spoutings' continue.
