Mouth to Mouth 2

Some kind of awful attention lapse has allowed me to miss this for the best part of three months, so it may be old hat to those of you with your fingers even vaguely closer to the pulse than mine, but better late than never.

Now watch:

Danced by members of the Cholmondeleys and Featherstonehaughs, choreographed and directed by Lea Anderson. Not her first venture into choreographed snogging -- the wonderful Birthday, way back in 1992, featured a beautiful kissing dance, also in the filmed version Perfect Moment (in which, as again here, the whole thing is shot in a single take) -- but this is more lighthearted and (apparently) casual, less austere. It's a pop video ferchrissakes.

Although I doubt it got much airplay on whatever the equivalent of Top of the Pops might be these days...

More's the pity. Great song, great new group, and excellent taste in collaborators.

The song is indeed great, despite it's all too amiably quirky mobile phone advert soundtrack quality. I don't (yet) know enough about the band to offer an opinion. And you know where I stand on the collaborators. But I am, in any case, positively addicted to this video. It's just adorable.
